This guide will walk you through the powerful user access management features, allowing users to interact with templates and perform various actions based on their assigned permissions. With User ACL, you can easily control who can do what within your Confluence pages using three distinct permission levels: Configure Macro , Editor, and Admin.

1. Configure Macro (Default)

Macro Config permission allows users to configure templates in Confluence pages using macros. Users with Macro Config access can easily customize the behavior of templates to suit their specific needs without the risk of modifying other aspects of the page.

The Editor permission is designed for users who need more control over templates. With Editor access, users can perform create, read, update, and delete (CRUD) operations on templates, as well as configure their settings.

Admin permission grants users the highest level of control, giving them full access to manage all settings related to templates, Content Security Policy (CSP), and Access Control List (ACL). Admin users possess the capabilities of both Macro Config and Editor permissions.
